WW1 - WEST GREEN MEMORIAL - UPDATE NOVEMBER 2022 |
************************************************************ We are pleased to announce that the annual Remembrance Day service at the West Green Memorial will take place on Sunday 10th November 2024, commencing at 2:30 pm , The ceremony will once again be hosted by Cllr Barbara Blake, on behalf of Haringey Council, together with contributions from other invited guests including the Minister from the nearby Seventh Day Adventist Church. There will also be marching bands and displays from local youth groups . This will be followed by a short history of the Memorial and some facts about the men who are commemorated there. We have also turned to social media and open invitations for the public to attend were posted in four of the main Local History pages on Facebook. We encourage everyone to attend again next year when once again we can honour the brave men of West Green Thank you for your support - Alan Swain NOTE: The 2024 Ceremony went ahead very well and was well attended ![]() ![]() |
