GUERILLA GARDEN - SUMMERHILL ROAD - MEMORY OF RAY SWAIN

 

 

We have recently received from Scott Robertson, on behalf of the former neighbours of my late brother in Summerhill Road, a number of lovely photographs that show the small commemorative garden that has been adopted at the foot of Summerhill Road in memory of Ray Swain who died in Sept 2018. The floral display is wonderful but in particular we are so pleased to see the abundance of poppies.

A relatively large number of special poppy seed packs were handed out at Ray's funeral reception which symbolised his long serving commitment to War Memorials throughout Tottenham and it is wonderful to see them flourish as a testament to the extensive work he conducted over many years.
